DESO pass on your Oarsome Grips when you are recovered

DESO collect and recycle used disability equipment (including elbow crutches) that ordinarily would be left in a landfill site in the UK, serving no help to anyone. Once collected DESO ship the equipment to Ghana and distribute the equipment to those who need it, including the Ghana Amputee Football Team!

Additionally, DESO promote projects that develop skills of people with disabilities, and improve their education and employment prospects, regardless of their disability. DESO also provide support for disabled people by holding workshops, group meetings, social centres, library loan service for the blind, sports competitions and self support networks.

We actively encourage all of our customers who are short term crutch users, once they are fully recovered to donate their good quality Oarsome Grips to DESO, and it’s so easy to do! Just pop your Oarsome Grips in the post to DESO and for details on how and other things you can donate visit their site here . Why not include a little monetary donation in the parcel too (Please make cheques payable to DESO UK, and please don’t send cash. Thank you)
